The Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA) has announced the winners of the 2024 EISA Awards at the House of Lords, Westminster.

These awards recognise the outstanding achievements of those who have made significant contributions to the UK’s EIS and SEIS startup ecosystem.

The EISA Awards bring together entrepreneurs, investors, legal experts and financial advisers and more to celebrate excellence made possible by the EIS (Enterprise Investment Scheme) and SEIS (Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme).

Christiana Stewart-Lockhart, Director General of the EISA, commented, “Our Awards, in the 30th anniversary year of the EIS, are of special significance and the high quality of this year’s entries reflects the exceptional work of our members. We have some incredible winners across 12 categories who deserve recognition for their excellent work, and I extend my congratulations to them all.”

The winners were selected by a distinguished panel of independent judges, who assessed candidates in a number of areas including on impact, innovation and contributions to the EIS and SEIS community.

The EIS and SEIS are instrumental in promoting innovation and supporting the growth of early-stage companies in the UK, as the nominees proved. The Awards were a testament to the remarkable talent and tremendous achievement within the UK startup community.

The EIS and SEIS have helped to ensure that the UK is one of the best places in the world to start a business. The jobs created, innovations spurred and economic growth driven by these schemes highlights their immense importance.

Those recognised at this year’s Awards include startups and investors working in a broad range of areas involving improving health and fitness, finding new ways of fighting cancer, and focusing on skill growth in the future workforce.

The EIS Association congratulates all the winners and looks forward to their continued success and contributions to the EIS ecosystem.
