On Monday 27th November 2023 the FCA published their Investment Firms Prudential Regime (IFPR) implementation observations: quantifying threshold requirements and managing financial resources – concluding report. This is the second and final report on their multi-firm review.
This roundtable will be an opportunity for EISA members to discuss the publication with the FCA. The FCA will provide a summary of the publication during the first half of the session followed by a Q and A session. The IFPR began on 1 Jan 2022. To support firms as they adapt to the new prudential standards, the FCA carried out a multi-firm review on IFPR implementation. Following their publication in February 2023, they provide additional observations as we conclude our review. This sets out what they observed and what good looks like with particular focus on capital, liquidity, and wind-down planning. They hope that sharing their observations will help firms to improve their assessments.
