Invitation to our Economic Question Time

On Tuesday 5th March, Mills & Reeve is collaborating with HSBC and Shaw Gibbs to host the Economic Question Time to bring together the latest thinking around the economy and what it means for entrepreneurs, businesses owners and professionals in the region.

HSBC Global Economist James Pomeroy will be delivering a keynote which will be a tale of two halves. First he will be looking at expectations for 2024 in the light of an unprecedented number of worldwide elections and expected rate cuts. Then he will look at global themes, trends around demographics and digitalisation sharing his views on those.

After the keynote James will join a panel of local influencers and decision makers for a Q&A session with the audience.

The panel will focus on ‘Tech-Up Oxfordshire: Scaling Success in Silicon Shire’, looking at particular disciplines around: health, technology and pharmaceuticals. Our panellists are: Hannah Scott, CEO, Oxfordshire Greentech, Marcelo Bravo, Chief Commercial Officer, CellRev and Founder of Oxford Pharmascience and Sebastian Johnson, Director of Ecosystems at ARC Advanced Research Clusters.
