ET Capital is the oldest venture capital firm in Cambridge, investing in the local science and technology cluster since 1993. It has invested nine funds since then. These have generated 5 IPOs (including the 2020 IPO of ADC Therapeutics on the New York Stock Exchange valued at $1.7B) and 17 trade sales (including the purchase of Carbon Engineering Limited by Occidental Petroleum for $1.1B in 2023).

Since 2020, ET Capital been the fund manager of 3 SEIS funds raised in partnership with Carbon13, the Cambridge-based climate technology venture builder.
